EKG/Treadmill

A resting electrocardiogram (EKG) is used to record electrical impulses from the heart. This report is then reviewed by our Cardiologist to make a diagnostic interpretation. The treadmill test, another type of EKG, is performed while the patient walks on a treadmill. This test is usually ordered if a patient has experienced chest pain or related symptoms but has a normal resting EKG. Patients may call (423) 698-2435 to schedule an appointment or for additional information about our testing and procedures.
